The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is a comprehensive, state-level international exhibition and trade platform co-hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Government, dedicated to advancing global trade in services. The fair features a wide range of activities, including exhibitions, conferences, and forums, spanning various service sectors such as telecommunications, finance, culture and tourism, education, sports, supply chain, and healthcare. Healthcare is a key focus of CIFITS. As stated in the name, international collaboration is an important focus of the event.
The 2025 Beijing Capital Medical Conference is scheduled to take place on September 12-13, 2025, during China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing. The Chinese Hospital Association (CHA), with guidance from the National Health Commission (NHC), the Beijing Municipality, and the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, is organizing this event. September 12 is a full-day conference with parallel sessions. The morning of September 13 there will be a plenary and opening ceremony, and afternoon will consist of parallel seminars.
The primary objective of the 2025 Beijing Capital Medical Conference is to provide a platform for cross-disciplinary exchange and explore innovative solutions to pressing healthcare challenges.

U.S.-China Patient Care Innovation Program: The U.S. Department of Commerce, Chinese Hospital Association (CHA) and U.S. Cooperative for International Patient Programs (USCIPP) propose to co-organize the U.S.-China Patient Care Innovation Program, a program designed to enhance healthcare outcomes with patient-centered approaches. The U.S.-China Patient Care Innovation Program session will be held on September 12 as part of the parallel sessions at the Beijing Capital Medical Conference. The program, modeled on recent successful programs organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce in China with the participation with Chinese healthcare entities, is expected to draw between 100 and 150 attendees.
It will bring together a distinguished group of hospital leaders and physicians and academia to foster dialogue and collaboration across key areas of cancer and innovative solutions for patients. Speakers will include U.S. companies, U.S. hospitals with expertise in cancer care and innovation technologies as well as Chinese government agencies and thought leaders in this space. Panel sessions and time for audience questions may be added as appropriate.
