Minho Kwon Ph.D.
Head of Laser Systems, QuEra
Minho Kwon is the Head of Laser Systems at QuEra Computing, where he leads the development of advanced laser subsystems for neutral-atom quantum computers. He brings over a decade of experience building neutral-atom platforms across multiple atomic species, with deep expertise in high-power laser systems and full-stack integration.
Minho earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison under Prof. Mark Saffman, contributing to pioneering work on rubidium- and cesium-based quantum computing. He later conducted postdoctoral research at Columbia University with Prof. Sebastian Will, focusing on strontium-based platforms.
At QuEra, he plays a key role in shaping technical strategy and hardware architecture, collaborating with global partners to advance scalable quantum technologies.
Tommaso Macrì
Executive Account Manager, QuEra
Tommaso Macrì is the Executive Account Manager at QuEra Computing, where he works to advance the development and commercialization of neutral-atom quantum computing technology. With a background in theoretical physics, Tommaso specializes in quantum simulation and quantum computing, particularly focusing on neutral-atom platforms. Before joining QuEra, Tommaso held a professorship in physics and has contributed extensively to research in quantum simulation and many-body physics. Tommaso has a PhD in Physics and has worked at well-known academic institutions. At QuEra, he closely works with academic and industry partners, ensuring the effective integration of quantum technologies into a variety of scientific and industrial applications.
