Andrew Anderson

Director @ U.S. Commercial Service - Wichita

A.J. Anderson is director of the Wichita office of the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce.  The U.S. Commercial Service is part of an international network covering all 50 states with offices in about 80 countries.  His office is dedicated to assisting small and medium-sized companies to increase their export business through export counseling and advice, information on markets abroad, international partner contacts and advocacy services.

Originally from Wichita, KS and a graduate of Wichita State University, he’s worked in a variety of operational and business development roles in international banking in KS, TX and GA.  He’s also worked in trade risk mitigation at Koch Industries.

He joined the U.S. Commercial Service in May of 2003 in the Des Moines, IA office and took over as director of the Wichita office in June of 2006.  He is a Certified International Credit Professional by FCIB and a member of the U.S. Commercial Service’s Aerospace Team and Agribusiness Team.

Rachel Minogue

Team Lead, Strategic Engagement @ ITA Supply Chain Center

Rachel Minogue works in I&A’s Supply Chain Center, which drives research and analysis on supply chain resilience for U.S. government. In this role, she advances the Center’s engagements with key interagency, industry, and international stakeholders, amplifying the office’s analysis and recommendations on supply chain resilience. Rachel joined the Center in April 2023 as the first permanent hire to build the team and operationalize the work.

 

From 2018-2023, Rachel covered trade in professional services (legal, accounting and consulting) in I&A’s Office of Supply Chain, Professional, and Business Services (OSCPBS). She engaged with leading trade associations, companies, and regulators to address foreign market trade barriers and promote U.S. services exports. Rachel also represented ITA in U.S. bilateral negotiations on cross-border trade in services issues and served as ITA’s delegate in the APEC Group on Services.

 

Rachel started work at ITA in 2018 as a Presidential Management Fellow (PMF). She received ITA’s Naomi Warbasse Memorial Award in 2021. Prior to joining ITA, Rachel worked as an Economics Fellow at Third Way, a DC-based think tank, where she led the trade policy portfolio, in addition to research on economic development, structural adjustment, and gender economics. She published several reports on the impact of U.S. trade developments and the gender pay gap.

 

Rachel has a Masters in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Bachelors of Arts degree in International Relations and Political Science from Emory University. She is proficient in French and enjoys board games and baking. Rachel lives in Washington, DC with her husband and cat.

Special Agent, Weapons of Mass Destruction Coordinator Counter UAS Coordinator @ FBI Milwaukee

Special Agent Scott Mahloch entered the FBI in 2008 and was first assigned to FBI Milwaukee’s Kenosha Resident Agency. In 2012, SA Mahloch transferred to FBI Chicago, where he worked national security matters and served as the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Coordinator. In 2018, SA Mahloch transferred back to FBI Milwaukee, where he currently serves as the WMD Coordinator. SA Mahloch has experience on the Hazardous Evidence Response Team (HERT) and is an FBI adjunct faculty member for the FBI’s WMD program. SA Mahloch is a retired U.S. Navy officer, serving 23 years on both active and reserve duty.

Siddharth "Sid" Sridhar is a Business & Industry Specialist in the Office of Supply Chain Services at the International Trade Administration (ITA), a bureau of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Sid provides expertise and supports negotiations related to air services and distribution services, including cold chain, warehousing, franchising, and direct selling services. He also temporarily covers express delivery services, e-commerce, and international postal issues for the office. Sid earned his PhD in business history from the University of Toronto, focusing on international trade and migration flows driven by agribusiness.
