The Southern Cone countries of Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay are playing a leading role in the development of the energy sector as they plan aggressive growth strategies to attract energy-intensive industries. They have demonstrated strong interest in making partnerships for cutting edge technologies to develop energy-related industries and improve existing infrastructure to become more efficient to power economic growth. There is strong growth demand for U.S. products, services, technologies, and solutions.
To capitalize on this opportunity, the U.S. Commercial Service has developed the IMPACT trade mission which will bring 15 businesses to Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay for five days of pre-arranged meetings with potential partners, networking receptions and business events to introduce U.S. energy technology solutions to the Southern Cone market. From Chile’s high energy demand for mining and agriculture sectors to Argentina’s booming oil and gas production and Uruguay’s push toward smart grid modernization, opportunities are abundant for U.S. businesses ready to enter or grow in these dynamic markets. With a mix of favorable trade agreements, supportive investment frameworks, and a strong appetite for U.S. expertise, the region is primed for collaboration.
Join the Energy Business Opportunities in the Southern Cone Webinar to explore regional opportunities and how the IMPACT trade mission can expand your business. Attendees will hear from top industry experts as they share insights on the region’s market potential, business opportunities, and how to participate in IMPACT.
