Carey Arun

Counselor for Commercial Affairs @ U.S. Commercial Service - Chennai, India

Carey has served as a Commercial Officer since 2017. Carey arrived summer 2022, as the Commercial Consul in Chennai, India where she leads a team of nine local specialists responsible for bilateral commercial affairs between Southern India and the United States.  Previously, Carey has served in Mexico, Washington, DC, and Baltimore, MD. Prior to joining the Commercial Service, Carey managed strategic programs for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), worked for Lockheed Martin in business development and program management, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Navy.  Carey has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore and holds two post graduate certificates, Multinational Financial Management from Thunderbird at Arizona State University, and the Mechanics of Project Finance from IFF & Middlesex University. Carey is fluent in English and Spanish.

Shantanu Sarkar

Commercial Specialist and Office Director @ U.S. Commercial Service, Kolkata

Shantanu joined U. S. Commercial Service in 2008 and is responsible for development of U.S. trade and business in 11 states in Eastern India- a region having a population of about 280 million. He has over 23 years of professional experience in marketing, business development, and operations. He has a science and business management educational background from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He is part of several important commercial initiatives to support the emerging economic partnership between U.S. and India. Prior to joining U.S. Commercial Service, Shantanu worked in private sector industries with multinational companies having businesses in mining equipment, industrial automation equipment, oil & gas field equipment and certification services. He has wide experience in handling inbound trade missions, organizing U.S. pavilions at trade shows in India and abroad, and taking outbound business delegations to international trade shows. 

A N Chandramouli

Industry Consultant & CEO @ ANCM Management Consultants

Mr. Chandramouli is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Trichy and Post-Graduate in Management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He superannuated as the MD of Starrag India and is a former Board Member. In this capacity, he set up a State of Art manufacturing facility and Technology Center in the Bengaluru Aerospace Park and established the famous WMW brand of Horizontal Machining Centres with significant local content under the Make-In-India vision. Prior to Starrag, he was holding the position as CEO of Makino India. His experience includes setting up a vocational training center at Makino to impart skills to CNC machine tool industry and its customers.

Sunil David

Digital Technology Consultant

Sunil David is an Independent Digital Technology Consultant with 30 years of experience in the IT and Telecom Industry. He is currently enlisted as an Independent Consultant in the Manufacturing and Process Control Practice Area with Frost and Sullivan India, one of the US based top Global 10 Research, Consulting and Strategy firms. He also Consults an IOT and AI based Technology solutions firm, Flamenco Technologies in their Go to Market strategy, branding initiatives and building of their partner ecosystem. Flamenco Solutions addresses use cases around Connected Manufacturing, Digital Supply Chain and Technology Enabled Sustainability solutions. Sunil is also a Mentor to T-Hub (Telangana Hub), one of the largest startup incubators in India supporting some of the most innovative startups.

Sunil, an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, spent almost 20 years with AT&T India, subsidiary of the U.S. based telecom giant AT&T Corp. In his last stint with AT&T, Sunil was the Regional Director – IOT (India and ASEAN). Sunil has had extensive experience in Business Strategy, Sales, Business Development and Alliance & Partnership building during his AT&T stint.
