About

Indonesia has the fourth largest population in the world, a growing economy, and is facing numerous environmental challenges which make it an emerging market for U.S. environmental technology exports. Water and wastewater treatment is the largest environmental technology sector for U.S. exports to Indonesia, followed by waste management and recycling and air pollution monitoring and control.

Indonesia faces considerable environmental challenges due to rapid growth and industrialization, including pollution from the mining, industrial, and agricultural sectors, as well as a need to expand basic infrastructure and services such as water supply, sanitation, and solid waste management.

Indonesia’s government committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 31.89% from 2010 levels by 2030 and achieving net-zero emissions by 2060.

Join us for this installment of the U.S. Environmental Technologies Market Intelligence Webinar Series to learn how U.S. Environmental Technology providers can take advantage of these growing opportunities in Indonesia. We'll hear briefings and presentations from Indonesian government officials and industry representatives on areas of potential business collaboration for U.S. companies on waste management, recycling, water and wastewater treatment, as well as air pollution monitoring and reduction technologies.
