Brazil’s $68B Water & Wastewater Expansion: From Reform to Implementation

WHY BRAZIL

Since the enactment of Brazil’s new water and wastewater regulatory framework in 2020, the sector has undergone a significant transformation. Public-private partnerships and service concessions have accelerated nationwide, securing more than US $68 billion in contracted investments.

Yet substantial infrastructure gaps remain. More than 35 million Brazilians still lack access to potable water, and over 44% of the population does not have wastewater collection and treatment services. To meet the national targets of providing potable water to 99% of the population and wastewater services to 90%, an estimated US $8 billion in additional annual investments will be required over the next decade for new infrastructure, system upgrades, and advanced technologies.

Join this no-cost webinar on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 1pm Eastern (10am Pacific) to explore the growing opportunities for U.S. suppliers in Brazil’s expanding water and wastewater market.
