Why attend?
The year 2023 was marked by the phenomenon of nearshoring on a global level. In Mexico, this trend was a trigger for the industrial real estate sector, which is reflected in the construction industry’s indicators. According to Solili, a real estate data platform, throughout 2023, more than 350 industrial projects began developing in various Mexican regions due to the burgeoning demand of companies wishing to reshore their production centers to Mexico in order to take advantage of the proximity to the United States.
This industrial reshoring represents an important opportunity for U.S. suppliers of construction materials, technologies, and services to satisfy the needs of the increasing proportion of industrial parks being constructed that will cover the U.S. demand of manufactured products. New manufacturing and industrial facilities in Mexico will have to comply with sustainability and productivity standards in which U.S. suppliers of construction, energy, waste and water technologies have a competitive advantage.
