SelectUSA is the U.S. government program led by the U.S. Department of Commerce dedicated to attracting and retaining investment in the U.S. economy. The program is dedicated to facilitating and promoting impactful business investment into the United States in order to create jobs, spur economic growth, and promote U.S. competitiveness.
Since its inception, SelectUSA has assisted thousands of clients, including economic development organizations (EDOs), domestic firms, and international companies, facilitating over $200 billion in client-verified investment, supporting more than 200,000 jobs across the United States and its territories.
The SelectUSA Investment Summit
Each year SelectUSA organizes, the SelectUSA Investment Summit, the premier event in the United States dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment (FDI). The Investment Summit is a one-stop shop for companies expanding to the United States by connecting thousands of investors, companies, economic development organizations (EDOs), and industry experts to make deals happen.
The 2026 SelectUSA Investment Summit takes place May 3-6, 2026, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland - close to Washington, DC - to establish new connections and opportunities to grow through investing in the United States.
