Elevating Cooperation: U.S.–Vietnam Aviation Partnership Roundtable

This high-level roundtable commemorates the 30th anniversary of U.S.–Vietnam diplomatic relations and will spotlight new opportunities for collaboration in Vietnam’s rapidly growing aviation sector.

Vietnam’s aviation sector is recovering strongly, approaching pre-pandemic passenger levels, and ranking 8th of air passenger market in the Asia Pacific in 2024. To meet rising air travel demand and bolster its position as a regional aviation hub, the country is undergoing a transformative phase marked by significant investments in infrastructure, rapid fleet expansion, and active participation from the private sector.

The U.S. Commercial Service is organizing this high-level roundtable to foster strategic dialogue and enhance collaboration between U.S. and Vietnamese aviation stakeholders. This event will bring together 40-50 senior representatives from:

  • U.S. aviation companies and government agencies
  • Vietnamese aviation developers, including Sun Group and T&T Group and its relevant parties, including consultants, contractors, and operators

You will gain first-hand insights into major infrastructure projects and its aviation ecosystem, including:

  • Sun Group’s Phu Quoc International Airport Expansion Project and newly approved Sun Phu Quoc Airways
  • T&T Group’s new Quang Tri Airport Project and its recent acquisition of Vietravel Airlines

Key Event Objectives

  • Showcase U.S. aviation technology and expertise
  • Exchange global best practices and highlight trends in the aviation sector
  • Strengthen U.S.–Vietnam partnerships through open dialogue and networking
